CECS Namibia is registered with the ICT Alliance of Namibia. CECS Namibia also contributed to the implementation of the ICT Policy of Namibia.

CECS Namibia is a registered IT Academy and Refurbishing Centre. CECS Namibia is a not for profit organization.

Our staff are passionate about what we are doing, educating our fellow citizens. We are strong supporters of Namibia 's Vision 2030. We want to eradicate poverty within our communities by educating the unemployed and giving all an equal opportunity at life.

All our staff members are computer literate and have obtained all 7 ICDL modules.

Our long term goal is to focus on getting communities and teachers literate in Computer skills and trained in Technical skills to be able to sort out technical problems in their own regions and not being so dependant on WINDHOEK ! We would like to reach Walvisbay and Luderitz in 2006.

The Primary function of CECS Namibia is to teach teachers and communities to become computer literate. We are primarily focusing on the Basic Computer Literacy skills at present, but as communities and teachers become literate in the basic skills, we will offer advanced courses. We now also offer Basic Technical and Entrepreneurship Courses.

We require that each registered student complete a written and practical exam and pass with no less than 65%. We issue computer literate certificates in basic skills to those who pass.
